Philip was Captain of the 1st XV in his final year at Inst, 1967. He then went to QUB, gained his BSc in Chemistry before training as an accountant. He joined PriceWaterhouse, spending all his professional career there, becoming a partner of the company. A keen sportsman, he has recently discovered a hidden talent of painting, which he enjoys in his retirement.
